Privacy Policy
Last updated: November 2026
This policy covers the Steckfeld website and the Steckfeld SF1 app. Both are operated by Daniel Pangerl (see the legal notice).
Website
The website uses no cookies and no analytics, has no forms, and loads nothing from third parties.
Hosting and server logs
The website is hosted on infrastructure that automatically generates short-lived technical logs (timestamp, IP address, requested URL, user agent) for the purpose of operating the service and defending against abuse. The lawful basis is our legitimate interest in a secure and working website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). These logs are not used for analytics and are rotated automatically.
App
Steckfeld SF1 has no account, no analytics, and no servers of ours behind it. Your patches and settings are stored on your device and are not sent to us.
If you connect a Bluetooth MIDI instrument or receive MIDI over your local network, the app exchanges MIDI data directly with those devices. This data does not reach us.
Apple distributes the app through the App Store and TestFlight, and processes purchase, install, and crash information independently under Apple's privacy policy.
Your rights
Under the GDPR and applicable data protection laws, you have the right to:
- Request access to any personal data we hold about you
- Request correction or deletion of that data
- Object to or restrict processing
- Withdraw any consent you have given
- Receive your data in a portable format
- Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority
